A clearer way to check what changed

Rowwise is a focused tool for comparing two versions of an Excel or CSV file without sending the spreadsheet to a server.

Why it exists

Reviewing spreadsheets by eye is slow and easy to get wrong, especially when rows move, columns change order, or a file contains thousands of records. Rowwise matches records using the key columns you choose, then identifies changed, new, missing, and duplicate rows.

Designed for practical reconciliation

You can exclude columns that should not count as differences, add specific old-to-new value exceptions, search results, and switch between a detailed result and synchronized sheet views. Results can be exported as CSV or as an Excel workbook with differences highlighted in yellow.

Your spreadsheet contents are read and compared in your web browser. Rowwise does not upload or store those files. For more detail, read our privacy policy.
